Your donation pays for these things:
Food assistance! Passage of the “Big Beautiful Bill” means refugees do not receive SNAP until they have Green Cards. And Green Card processing has ground to a halt. Your donation helps us get grocery cards at Aldi, Walmart and Costco.
Rent assistance - We bridge the gap between what a refugee’s income will pay toward their rent and what that rent actually is. This means we may subsidize up to $1,000/month for a single family’s rent.
Transportation assistance - We may help fund car insurance for a new driver or fund IndyGo bus passes for families who haven’t yet been able to attain a car. Our goal is to enable families to get to work and to school.
100% of what you donate goes to help a local immigrant family we serve.
